Six months and the magic of Lite Brite

Today is the six month anniversary of coming home with Candace and Sarah. Here they are posing with their first complete Lite Brite creation. It's the same Lite Brite my teenagers played with when they were little.

They have come a long way in six months. We still have lots of work to do in terms of attachment, but maybe we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Or maybe it's the Lite Brite at the end of the tunnel... ha, ha.

I remember lite brite! I wonder if they still have it anywhere. They did a good job! I'm glad you are seeing "the light"! At six months we'll see how the girls and I are doing! It's nice to have you to compare notes with.

Hahaha Candace found the lite brite in the storage room when I was home and I told her it was broken... But did they really make that themselves? Or does it have a sheet thing that tells you what to do? Oh and I'm guessing it was a "no head" day haha.

I wish I still had a Lite Brite! Loved playing with ours as a kid. I am sure I would still love to play w/ one now that I am a big kid!

I love Lite Brite and have been thinking of digging our old one out. My big kids used to spend hours making creations.

Hang in there with the attachment challenges, and take good care of yourself.
