Our pain lingers too, but over time the Lord heals our wounds. I have always hated the saying "time heals all wounds". Time doesn't heal - the Lord heals. Time is a gift God gives to put distance and healing from our sadness. Our scares remain, to remind us of where we've been, but also how the Lord has healed (or will heal) our broken hearts. I keep thinking of the image of Christ after the resurrection... he still had the nail holes in his hands and feet. Those wounds were still visible, yet healed! Hallelujah!

Sorry about those jeans - such a bummer when a favorite piece of clothing finally gives out. My favorite pair of flannel jammies are now worn out in areas around my bum. I was going to sew them up, but I think they wouldn't be as comfy as before. The have been relinquished to the rag bag to be used for another purpose!

Love the pics of the kiddos. Yes... guitar lessons will be wonderful!

I love you and think of you often. Oh how I wish we lived closer!
KKristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09490282906820870874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5602622530885523884.post-88199640264864609102012-01-20T22:43:22.802-06:002012-01-20T22:43:22.802-06:00Sylvia looks like one of those teeny foxes with th...Sylvia looks like one of those teeny foxes with the giant ears.elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12344495789143282989noreply@blogger.com
